{"id":1803,"date":"2025-11-03T16:49:17","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T15:49:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/avsec.pl\/secure-supply-chain\/zatwierdzony-przewoznik-drogowy\/"},"modified":"2025-11-26T13:52:16","modified_gmt":"2025-11-26T12:52:16","slug":"approved-haulier","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/avsec.pl\/en\/secure-supply-chain\/approved-haulier\/","title":{"rendered":"Approved Haulier"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>As of 1 January 2027, the transport of consignments within the secure supply chain will only be permitted by entities holding one of the following statuses:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Regulated Agent,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Known Consignor,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Approved Haulier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, the Haulier Declaration (Attachment 6-E) will no longer be accepted after this date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Approved haulier<\/strong> means an entity that ensures, on behalf of a regulated agent or known consignor, the surface transport and protection of air cargo and mail consignments to which security controls have previously been applied and whose procedures meet common security rules and standards sufficient to maintain the integrity of the consignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does the approval process for approved hauliers look like<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To obtain&nbsp;approved haulier status, an entity submits the following to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA, in polish ULC):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>an application for approval,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a&nbsp;security programme,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a\u00a0Declaration of Commitments \u2013 Approved Haulier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Before designating an entity as an&nbsp;approved haulier, the President of the CAA reviews the submitted documentation and conducts an interview with the person responsible for implementing the security programme and ensuring the proper application of air cargo and airmail security measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once approved, the details of each approved haulier are entered by the President of the CAA into the \u2018Union database on supply chain security.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The status is granted for a&nbsp;maximum, non-renewable period of one year<strong>,<\/strong> during which the haulier is subject to an on-site inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why is it worth it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Becoming an approved haulier is more than a regulatory requirement from 2027 \u2014&nbsp; it brings tangible business benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>possibility of exemption from additional security screening for cargo originating from entities within the&nbsp;secure supply chain (e.g., known consignor, regulated agent),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reduced operational costs through simplified procedures,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>faster cargo handling and shorter delivery times,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>strengthening credibility and competitiveness in the air cargo transport market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Choose Professionalism with Avsec.pl<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We provide comprehensive guidance \u2013 from preparing documentation and a security programme, through aviation security training, to substantive support, as well as ongoing assistance and conducting internal quality control activities to help maintain an approved haulier status in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With our solutions, your company gains&nbsp;security, a competitive edge, and full confidence in regulatory compliance.
